Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will manage, maintain, and support comprehensive patient care workflows within a secure psychiatric environment. You will collaborate closely with doctors, nursing staff, and multi-disciplinary clinical teams to resolve acute behavioral or medical crises quickly. Your daily tasks will include managing therapeutic treatment plans, medication administration setups, and monitoring vital signs or behavioral data for optimal recovery outcomes and facility security. You will also troubleshoot patient compliance concerns, handle routine psychiatric admissions, and maintain detailed clinical tracking documentation across our healthcare platforms.
Requirements & Skills
Must possess a minimum of an Associate Degree in psychiatric technology, nursing, or a closely related medical discipline.
Valid and active state professional license or certification to practice as a Psychiatric Technician.
Strong proficiency in diagnosing acute behavioral changes, crisis intervention, and psychiatric medication protocols.
Solid understanding of mental health guidelines, patient privacy compliance, and healthcare asset management.
Experience working on-site in Lancaster, CA, and collaborating effectively via physical clinical workflows.
