Welcome to Jump Recruiter (jumprecruiter.com). This Terms of Use Agreement (this “Agreement”) is a legal contract between Jump Recruiter, LLC, a California limited liability company (“Jump Recruiter”) and yourself (referenced herein as “you” or “your”), which governs your use of and/or access to our website and Services (defined below). This Agreement applies to all persons or entities who visit, use or access any of the Services (“Users”). By accessing or using the Services, you signify that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Agreement, whether or not you are a registered user, partner, or customer of the Services. If you are acting on behalf of your employer or another entity, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to enter into this Agreement on behalf of such employer or other entity and are able to bind such employer or other entity to the Agreement. This Agreement incorporates the Jump Recruiter Privacy Policy and any other Specific Terms of Service (defined below) as applicable.

Jump Recruiter reserves the right to amend this Agreement (including the Privacy Policy and any Specific Terms of Service) at any time. Your continued use of the Services after any such change shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms of Use  Agreement. If you do not agree to any of the terms of this Agreement, you are not permitted to use or access (or continue to access) the Services.

Jump Recruiter provides a digital platform that connects Job Seekers and Employers.

  • Job Seekers may create profiles, upload resumes (including via Jump Resume Builder), search for job opportunities, and apply directly to job postings.

  • Employers may post job listings, review applications, search candidate profiles, and manage recruitment activities.

This Agreement ensures the fair use of our Services, protects user rights, and complies with applicable laws, including labor, data protection, and consumer protection standards.

Jump Recruiter does not serve as an agent of, or decision-maker for, any Employer or Job Seeker. All hiring, interviews, and employment decisions are made solely by Employers and Job Seekers, and Jump Recruiter shall not be liable for any such decisions made by Employers.

1. Use of the Services

By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Jump Recruiter does not have control over, and does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, completeness, veracity or legality of content provided by third parties. Additionally, you acknowledge and agree that Jump Recruiter does not have control over the integrity, responsibility, or actions of other Job Seekers or Employers.

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside to use the Services, so that you can form a binding contract with Jump Recruiter. If you are under the age of eighteen (18) or the age of majority, and you are permitted to work in the jurisdiction in which you reside, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to this Agreement on your behalf. You may not use the Services if your use of the Services has been previously terminated or suspended by Jump Recruiter, unless we have provided you with written authorization to begin using the Services again.

1.2 Contact by Telephone

When using the Services, Jump Recruiter may ask for your consent to contact you by telephone, including SMS. By granting such consent, you authorize Jump Recruiter to contact you by telephone at the number you provided. Further, you acknowledge and agree that Jump Recruiter may do so by using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice (to the extent permitted by the laws of the jurisdiction where you reside). Further, you agree you are solely responsible for any and all charges you may receive, if any, from your telephone provider as a result of any telephone calls from Jump Recruiter.

You may revoke your consent to be contacted via telephone by providing written notice of your intent to revoke such consent by emailing support@jumprecruiter.com and including the phrase “Revocation of Telephone Consent” in the subject line. You agree that Jump Recruiter may, but is not obligated to, record any of your telephone conversations with Jump Recruiter for quality control purposes, for training Jump Recruiter employees, and for Jump Recruiter’s own protection.

1.3 Contact by Email

By providing Jump Recruiter your email address, you consent to Jump Recruiter sending you Service related and other non-commercial notices, including but not limited to any notices required by law, in lieu of communications by postal mail. If you have consented to receiving email communications from Jump Recruiter, you will receive such communications until you opt out.

If you do not want to receive job alert emails and/or marketing communications from us, you may opt-out by emailing support@jumprecruiter.com and requesting to opt-out. Please note, however, that opting out may prevent you from receiving email communications regarding updates, improvements, special offers, or other communications. Further, while you can opt-out of marketing messages and email job alerts, you cannot opt-out of service-related communications, including those related to security, legal notices, your account, your use of our Services, billing, and other transactional purposes unless you deactivate your account and stop using our Services.

1.4 User Accounts

When creating your account or uploading information to the Services through your account, you represent and warrant that you will provide accurate and complete information. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and you are expected to use strong passwords with your account.

You acknowledge and agree that you must exercise caution when accessing your account from a public or shared computer, to ensure that others cannot view or record your password or other personal information. You agree that your account is personal to you, and you agree not to provide any other person with access to the Services by allowing them to use your username or password, or any other similar breach of security. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all actions that occur under your account, whether committed by you or a third party. You further acknowledge and agree that you must log out of your account at the end of each session.

Jump Recruiter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to disable or terminate your account, any username, password, or other identifier, whether chosen by you or provided by us, in our sole discretion for any or no reason, including any violation of this Agreement. Jump Recruiter may suspend or terminate your account and/or your access to the Services, or any portion of the Services, at any time, without notice to you, at Jump Recruiter’s sole discretion, if Jump Recruiter determines that you have violated this Agreement. Upon any such termination, all provisions of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect, except for any provision that grants you access to any of the Services. You acknowledge and agree that Jump Recruiter shall have no liability to you or any third party for any termination or suspension of your access to the Services or your account, or the deletion of information contained within such account.

By connecting to the Services, you give Jump Recruiter permission to access and use your information from that service as permitted by that service, and to store your log-in credentials for that service.

1.5 General Rules

You acknowledge and agree that you may not, without authority, interfere with, damage, or disrupt: (i) any part of Jump Recruiter’s Services; (ii) any equipment or network on which Jump Recruiter’s Services or content is stored; (iii) any software or other systems or equipment used in the provision of our Services; or (iv) any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party.

You acknowledge and agree that you shall not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our Services, the server on which our Services are stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to our Services. Jump Recruiter shall have the authority to report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and cooperate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. Further, in the event of such a breach, Jump Recruiter may immediately suspend your right to use the Services.

2. Interpretation and Definitions

For clarity, the following definitions carry specific meanings within these Terms:

  • Company / We / Us / Our: Shall refer to Jump Recruiter, LLC, a California limited liability company.

  • Services: Shall include Jump Recruiter’s website, online platforms, software, tools, features, and related products and services through which users may search for employment opportunities, create profiles, upload or build resumes, apply for jobs, communicate with employers or other users, receive job alerts or recommendations, and access other career-related resources. The Services also include tools and features made available to employers, recruiters, and other hiring-related users, including the ability to create accounts, post or promote job listings, search for or review candidate information, manage applications, communicate with applicants, and use related hiring, recruiting, analytics, or administrative tools. The Services include any and all updates, enhancements, new features, or related offerings made available by Jump Recruiter from time to time.

  • Job Seeker: An individual who uploads a resume or CV, searches for or applying for employment, or use platform services related to their personal job search.

  • Employer: A business, organization, or recruiter that has registered a company profile directly on Jump Recruiter (“Verified Employer”), or otherwise uses the Services to search for prospective employees, view resumes, or posts and/or distributes job listings.

Verified Employer: A company that has completed Jump Recruiter’s account registration process and posts job listings directly through their registered account, or otherwise uses the Services to search for prospective employees, view resumes, or posts and/or distributes job listings.

Verified Employer Listing: A job posting created and published directly by a Verified Employer through their registered account.

  • User / You: Anyone accessing or using the Jump Recruiter website or Services including Job Seekers and Verified Employers.

  • User Content: Any data, text, resumes, images, or other materials, including but not limited to job listings, screening questions, job applications, resumes, logos, trademarks, content of messages, and other content information submitted or provided to Jump Recruiter on or through the platform.

Application Data: All personal information submitted by a Job Seeker when applying for any job listing, including resume, contact details, work history, education, and cover letter.

Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, including name, email, phone, or location data. This definition adjusts to include ‘Personal Information’ and ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ as defined under Applicable Data Protection Law and Jump Recruiter’s Privacy Policy.

Applicable Data Protection Law: All laws and regulations relating to privacy, data security, consumer protection, and the processing of Personal Data, including GDPR and CCPA.

  • Device: Any device used to access the platform

  • Third-Party Services: Any function, product, or service offered by a third party accessible through or linked from Jump Recruiter.

3. User Content and Users

The Services allow Users to post and/or provide content that may be viewable by other Users, including but not limited to, job postings, screening questions, company information, a Job Seeker’s application, resumes, logos, trademarks, and other content or information. User Content is the sole responsibility of the person or entity that provided the User Content. You shall be solely responsible for your User Content, and the consequences of posting, providing or publishing it.

The following are types of User Content that are prohibited, and shall not be interpreted as an exhaustive list, but rather an illustrative list: User Content that (i) may create a risk of harm to any person or property; (ii) provides information about illegal activities; (iii) contains information Jump Recruiter deems to be unlawful, abusive, harmful, racially or ethnically offensive, defamatory, infringing, invasive of personal privacy or publicity rights, harassing, libelous, threatening, profane, or otherwise objectionable, (iv) contains information or content that is illegal; (v) involves transmission of unsolicited mail or other communications; (vi) contains a link to material that is illegal or offensive, or targets or solicits Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18; (vii) contains false or misleading information; (viii) violates the intellectual property rights of Jump Recruiter or any other third party.

You hereby agree that Jump Recruiter makes no representations, warranties, promises, or guarantees regarding any User Content, including, without limitation, job postings, job applications, resumes, and messages. You further agree that Jump Recruiter has no obligation to verify the accuracy, legality, or truthfulness of any User Content. You understand that you may be exposed to User Content that is inaccurate, illegal, misleading, or false, and you hereby accept that it is your sole responsibility to verify the truthfulness, legality and reliability of all User Content.

Please note that Section 230 of the U.S. Communications Decency Act (“CDA”) (and the equivalent or similar laws in your jurisdiction) is intended to limit the liability of service providers like Jump Recruiter who make available access to third-party user generated content. Any decision by Jump Recruiter to remove, not post, or not distribute any User Content does not by itself amount to participation in the creation of such content, and therefore, does not constitute a waiver of the immunity provided by the CDA.

4. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any part of Jump Recruiter or its Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you may not access our website or use our Services. When using Jump Recruiter’s website or its Services, you must :

  • Follow the terms of this Agreement and related policies including our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction)

  • Enter a legally binding agreement with Jump Recruiter by accessing our website or using our Services

  • Not use the platform as a substitute for your own independent judgment in employment-related decisions

If you access or use the platform as an employee or authorized representative of an Employer, you agree to this Agreement on behalf of yourself and that Employer, and confirm you have authority to bind that entity.

5. Updates to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement at any time. Any such changes will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of the Agreement. If changes are material, we may, but are not required to, provide additional notice to you via email or in-platform notifications. Your continued use of the Services after updates take effect shall constitute your full acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to any of the updated terms, you must immediately cease using the Services.

6. Services Offered

Jump Recruiter is an online platform to connect Job Seekers with Employers. Job listings on Jump Recruiter are Verified Employer Listings, posted directly by registered companies. Jump Recruiter offers various services and platforms that allow Job Seekers to apply to these Verified Employer Listings, and allow Verified Employers to screen candidates for potential employment.

6.1 Services for Job Seekers

As a Job Seeker, you may:

  • Create and manage a user profile.

  • Upload resumes, including those created on Jump Resume Builder, and use them to apply for jobs.

  • Search and filter job opportunities posted by Verified Employer Listings.

  • Receive personalized job recommendations and job alerts based on your profile and activity

  • Save job postings, track applications, and manage your job search activity.

  • Communicate with Verified Employers through our messaging system (where available).

Important Notes for Job Seekers:

Jump Recruiter does not guarantee job placement, interviews, or hiring outcomes. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information you provide. Further, Jump Recruiter does not guarantee the accuracy of any information contained in a job posting, including but not limited to salary information. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all information contained in a job posting directly with the Employer

6.2 Services for Verified Employers

As an Employer, you may:

  • Create a verified company profile and manage one or more Employer accounts

  • Post job openings directly and manage active listings

  • Access, review, and respond to candidate resumes, profiles, and applications submitted to your listings

  • Communicate directly with candidates using platform messaging features.

  • Access analytics, reporting dashboards, and subscription-based recruitment solutions

Important Notes for Employers:

By registering, you confirm your company profile and listings are accurate and represent legitimate employment opportunities. You are responsible for compliance with all applicable labor, employment, and anti-discrimination laws. All Application Data must be used solely for lawful recruitment. Verified Employers are bound by the data processing obligations set forth herein.

6.3 Verified Employer Listings

Verified Employer Listings are job postings created and published directly by companies that have completed Jump Recruiter’s registration and verification process. Verified Employers take full responsibility for the content, accuracy, and legal compliance of their postings. Jump Recruiter does not guarantee the accuracy of the content of job postings.

How Applications Work: When you apply to a Verified Employer Listing, your Application Data is collected by Jump Recruiter and emailed directly to the registered Verified Employer’s designated contact address. Jump Recruiter acts as data controller for collection and transmission; the Verified Employer acts as an independent data controller upon receipt and is responsible for processing your Application Data in accordance with applicable data protection law.

6.4 Job Listings — General Disclaimers (All Listing Types)

For all listing types, Job Seekers acknowledge that:

  • Jump Recruiter has no control over the accuracy, completeness, legality, or availability of any job listing content and disclaims all liability for such content.

  • Jump Recruiter cannot guarantee and disclaims all liability for the identity, legitimacy, or practices of any Verified Employer or User.

  • Jump Recruiter may display estimated salary information for informational purposes only; however, Jump Recruiter does not guarantee the accuracy of any displayed salary information. You hereby agree that it is your sole responsibility to always confirm actual salary and various employment terms directly with the Verified Employer.

  • Jump Recruiter may add informational labels or badges (such as ‘Verified’ or ‘Active’) to listings at its sole discretion; however, Jump Recruiter does not guarantee accuracy of any such labels.

  • Jump Recruiter reserves the right to remove, limit, or reject any listing for any reason, without notice or obligation to provide reasons.

7. Eligibility

7.1 General Requirements

To use Jump Recruiter, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside to use the Services, so that you can form a binding contract with Jump Recruiter. If you are under the age of eighteen (18) or the age of majority, and you are permitted to work in the jurisdiction in which you reside, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to this Agreement on your behalf. You may not use the Services if your use of the Services has been previously terminated or suspended by Jump Recruiter, unless we have provided you with written authorization to begin using the Services again. Further, to use Jump Recruiter, you must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

7.2 Job Seekers

As a Job Seeker, you can use the Services for the following:

  1. to search for jobs;

  2. apply for jobs;

  3. receive job alert emails and/or text messages;

  4. create and/or modify your resume;

  5. include your resume and other applicable information in a resume database;

and

  1. use the Services to participate in video calls or interviews.

You may use Jump Recruiter only for personal, lawful job-search activities. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information in your profile, resumes, and applications. You may not create multiple accounts or portray another individual.

7.3 Verified Employers

You may use Jump Recruiter only for legitimate recruitment and hiring purposes.

Further, as a Verified Employer, you hereby agree that:

  • All job postings made by you must comply with applicable labor, employment, and anti-discrimination laws;

  • Only authorized personnel may create or manage Employer accounts; and

  • Verified Employers must not use candidate information for any purpose outside of evaluating and contacting candidates for legitimate hiring needs.

7.4 Restrictions

  • Users who fail to meet these eligibility requirements may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

  • Jump Recruiter reserves the right to refuse access to any User who violates this Agreement or applicable laws, and may remove or limit any User Content or account for any reason.

8. User Responsibilities

8.1 Job Seeker Responsibilities

As a Job Seeker, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate, and current information in all resumes, profiles, and applications

  • Use Services only for lawful job search purposes: 

  • Review any application before submitting, as you are solely responsible for its content

  • Not use the platform as a substitute for your own independent judgment in employment decisions

  • Verify the validity and legitimacy of any employer or job offer before taking any action, including, but not limited to, with respect to your current employment

  • Avoid impersonating another person, creating multiple accounts, or submitting spam or misleading applications

  • Acknowledge that Employers— not Jump Recruiter — make all final hiring decisions

8.2 Employer Responsibilities

As a Verified Employer, you agree to:

  • Post lawful, accurate, and non-discriminatory job listings compliant with all applicable labor and employment laws

  • Use Application Data only for legitimate employee recruitment; you must not resell, misuse, or unlawfully share Job Seeker information

  • Ensure only authorized personnel access and manage your account; you are responsible for all account activity

  • Avoid posting fake jobs, collecting resumes under false pretenses, or using the platform for non-recruitment purposes

  • Protect candidates’ personal data in accordance with Section 12.4 and all applicable data protection laws

  • Not rely solely on platform tools or automated features as a substitute for independent human judgment in any hiring decision

  • Be solely responsible for compliance with all applicable anti-discrimination and data protection laws in your hiring processes

9. Prohibited Activities

9.1 For All Users

  • Misrepresentation: Using a fake identity, posing as someone else, or giving false or misleading details.

  • Fraudulent activity: Using the Services for scams, phishing, or deceptive practices.

  • Unauthorized access: Attempting to break into the system, bypass security measures, or disrupt the platform's functionality.

  • Data scraping or harvesting: Collecting platform data by automated or manual means without written consent from Jump Recruiter, to view, access, or collect information or content from the Services, or using any part of the Services or content to train a machine learning or AI model or otherwise ingesting content or any portion of the Services into a machine learning or AI model.

  • Automation abuse: Using bots or scripts to apply for jobs, create accounts, or interact with the platform outside of officially supported tools

  • Posting harmful content: Uploading material that is defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise unlawful.

  • System abuse: Introducing malware, viruses, or engaging in activities that disrupt or overload the Services.

  • Copying, distributing, reproducing, or otherwise displaying to the public, any part of the Services in any medium which is not expressly permitted under this Agreement or applicable law, or any other actions which infringe upon intellectual property rights

  • Taking any action that Jump Recruiter determines, at its sole discretion, imposes or may impose, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on Jump Recruiter’s infrastructure;

  • Collecting or harvesting personally identifiable information from the Services, except as expressly permitted by certain features of the Services;

  • Using the Services for any commercial solicitation purposes;

  • Bypassing any measures Jump Recruiter has implemented to prevent or restrict access to the Services, including without limitation, features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of any content or enforce limitations on use of the Services or the content therein;

  • Disclosing or sharing login credentials;

  • Reverse engineering or decompiling any parts of the Services;

  • Post or transmit junk or unsolicited mail or other communications;

  • Post or submit any inaccurate, incomplete, or false biographical information or another person’s information; or

  • Post or submit any material that is unlawful, illegal, defamatory, offensive, discriminatory, threatening, or obscene, as determined at the sole discretion of Jump Recruiter

  • Commercial exploitation: Reselling, redistributing, or misusing Jump Recruiter content, tools, or candidate data.

9.2 For Job Seekers

  • Applying to jobs with false, misleading, or irrelevant information.

  • Spamming Employers with duplicate or irrelevant applications.

  • Sharing Employer contact details or job listing content outside of legitimate job-search purposes.

  • Including sensitive personal information (e.g., financial details, government ID numbers, health data) in your profile or applications unless specifically required.

9.3 For Verified Employers

  • Posting false, misleading, discriminatory, or legally non-compliant job listings

  • Using the platform for multi-level marketing, unpaid opportunities (unless clearly disclosed), non-recruitment purposes, or non-genuine roles

  • Using Job Seeker data for any purpose other than legitimate recruitment

  • Sharing or selling candidate information to third parties without a lawful basis and, where required, the candidate’s explicit consent

10. Profile, Resume, and Application Content

10.1 Your Profile 

By creating a profile or uploading a resume on Jump Recruiter, you authorize Jump Recruiter to make it available to Verified Employers as described in the Agreement and our Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for keeping your profile accurate and up-to-date.
10.2 Profile Visibility 

You may control whether your profile is visible to Verified Employers by adjusting your privacy settings. A ‘Not Searchable’ profile is only visible to Verified Employers you have directly applied to or shared your resume with. Changing your privacy settings does not affect previous applications or prevent Employers you have already contacted from reaching you.

10.3 Sensitive Information 

Do not include sensitive information in your profile or applications that you do not wish to be shared — including financial details, government identification numbers, or health information. Jump Recruiter may hide detected sensitive data but cannot guarantee it will never be visible, and Jump Recruiter does not guarantee that it will detect all sensitive data.

10.4 Multiple Resumes 

You may save multiple resume versions to your profile. Jump Recruiter stores these at its discretion and may remove them without notice. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies.

10.5 Use of Profile Data for Job Matching

Data in or associated with your profile may be used to suggest relevant jobs to you and, if your profile is set to visible, to suggest your profile to Verified Employers with matching opportunities.

11. Automated Tools and Platform Recommendations

Jump Recruiter may offer features powered by automated processing, including job recommendations, profile matching, and resume feedback. The following applies:

  • Recommendations and matches are provided to assist Users in making their own decisions — they are not employment decisions or endorsements, and you shall exercise your own discretion and judgment in determining whether to pursue such recommendations and matches

  • Jump Recruiter does not make hiring decisions; all such decisions are made solely by Employers

  • Estimated salary figures, labels, badges, and match indicators are informational only, and Jump Recruiter does not guarantee the accuracy is not guaranteedof any such information

  • Any AI-generated content (draft messages, resume feedback, job description suggestions) is for informational and productivity purposes only; accuracy is not guaranteed and you shall verify the accuracy of all AI-generated content

  • Users agree not to use platform tools as a substitute for independent human judgment in employment-related decisions

12. Messaging, Notifications, and Communications

Jump Recruiter may provide messaging features between Job Seekers and Verified Employers. The following applies:

  • Jump Recruiter may use an alias for your email or phone number to facilitate communications and reduce fraud; once a Verified Employer has your direct contact information, Jump Recruiter is not responsible for how they use it

  • Notifications sent by Jump Recruiter (e.g. application viewed, listing saved) are a courtesy only and should not be relied upon; it shall be your sole responsibility to confirm all arrangements directly with the relevant party

  • Jump Recruiter is not responsible for the content of Employer messages or responses to your applications

  • Standard messaging or calling rates from your telecommunications provider may apply

13. Intellectual Property Rights

All platform content, technology, software, trademarks, and branding belong to Jump Recruiter or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

  • Users retain ownership of content they submit (resumes, cover letters, profiles, job postings)

  • By submitting content, you grant Jump Recruiter a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Services

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Jump Recruiter’s platform, branding, or proprietary content without written permission

  • This Agreement grants only a limited license to access and use the Services in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. Nothing herein shall be construed as a transfer of ownership or intellectual property interest ortitle in and to the Services or any materials used in connection with the Services, including, without limitation, software, programs, products, information, documentation, images, text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, illustrations, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music, and content. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such Intellectual Property Rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works from any materials or content accessible on the Services. Use of Jump Recruiter’s Services for any purpose not expressly permitted by this Agreement is strictly prohibited.

  • If you participate in any evaluation regarding the Services or otherwise provide Jump Recruiter suggestions, comments, ideas, opinions, recommendations for the modification, correction, improvement, or enhancement of the Services, or other feedback regarding the Services, any such feedback shall be deemed a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable, and non-exclusive right and license for Jump Recruiter to adopt, publish, reproduce, disseminate, transmit, distribute, copy, use, create derivative works of, and display, or act on any such feedback without additional approval or consideration in any form, and you hereby waive any claim to the contrary. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any moral rights and irrevocably consent to any acts that would otherwise infringe your moral rights in your feedback.

14. Payments & Subscriptions (Verified Employers)

Some Verified Employer features require payment or a subscription. By purchasing these services, you agree to:

  • Billing: Charges are as displayed at the time of purchase

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

  • Payment Processing: Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; Jump Recruiter does not store full payment card details

  • Refunds: Fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law or expressly stated at the time of purchase

  • Responsibility: You are responsible for keeping billing information current and accurate

To cancel your subscription, you must provide written notice to Jump Recruiter of your desire to cancel the subscription by sending an email to support@jumprecruiter.com. You will not receive a refund for any prepaid fees for any such cancellation. Further, if Jump Recruiter suspends, limits, or terminates your access to the Services due to your material breach of this Agreement, you understand and agree that you will not receive a refund for any fees that you have prepaid for the subscription, and if you have not paid all applicable fees, you shall remain liable to Jump Recruiter for the entire amount due and owing for the subscription.

15. Infringing Content

It is the policy of Jump Recruiter to respond to alleged infringement notices that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), or if you reside outside the United States, any similar applicable law with respect to copyright infringement in the jurisdiction in which you are located.

If you believe your copyright has been copied, resulting in an infringement, and is accessible via the Services, please notify Jump Recruiter as set forth below. To make a valid complaint under the DMCA, you must provide the following information in writing to Jump Recruiter:

  1. electronic or physical signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;

  2.  identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;

  3.  identification of the material you claim is infringing, and provide a link (if available) to where the material is located on the Services;

  4.  information reasonably sufficient to permit Jump Recruiter to contact you (i.e., your address, telephone number, and email address);

  5. statement that you have a good faith belief that the alleged infringement is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law; and

  6. statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.


Any failure to provide all of the above information may result in a delay in the processing of your notification and may result in you having to repeat some of the process. Jump Recruiter will not take responsive action until all of the necessary information is provided.
The above information must be submitted to:
support@jumprecruiter.com. If your content was removed due to claims of copyright infringement, and you wish to dispute the removal, the process for counter-notifications is governed by Section 512(g) of the DMCA. If you knowingly materially misrepresent that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may be subject to liability. Accordingly, if you are not sure whether certain material infringes the copyrights of others, Jump Recruiter recommends you first contact an attorney before making a counter- notification. To assist Jump Recruiter in processing your counter-notification, please use the following format: (i) identify the specific URLs of material that Jump Recruiter has removed or disabled; (ii) provide your full name, address, telephone number, email address, and, if you are a registered user, the username of your account; (iii) provide a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of the State of California, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification to Jump Recruiter in accordance with the process outlined above or an agent of such person; and (iv) include the following statement “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.” Further, you must sign the notice. If you are providing the notice via email, a scanned physical signature or a valid electronic signature will be accepted. Send the notice to support@jumprecruiter.com.

After Jump Recruiter receives your counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original claim of copyright. Please note that when we forward the counter-notification, it may include any of your identifying information set forth in the counter-notification. Thus, by submitting a counter-notification, you consent to having such identifying information revealed in the manner set forth in this paragraph.

After sending the counter-notification, the claimant must notify us within ten (10) days whether they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material on the site. If we receive such notification, we will be unable to restore the items. If we do not receive such notification, Jump Recruiter may, but is not obligated to, reinstate the disputed items.

If you believe in good faith that any content on the Services is illegal or infringes on your, or a third party’s, intellectual property rights, or you otherwise wish to make us aware of other illegal or infringing acts, you can contact us via email at support@jumprecruiter.com. Any notice to us must contain: (i) a detailed description of the activity you are complaining about; (ii) a detailed description of the location of the material; and (iii) your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

16. Data Protection, Privacy, and Candidate Application Data

Your use of Jump Recruiter is subject to our Privacy Policy. Please review Jump Recruiter’s Privacy Policy: The Privacy Policy is fully incorporated herein by this reference.

17. Third-Party Links and Services

The platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. Jump Recruiter does not control or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party services. You hereby agree that if you access a third-party website from the Services, you do so at your own risk, and expressly relieve Jump Recruiter from any and all liability arising from your use of any third-party website, service, or content.

18. Health, Safety, and Platform Integrity

Jump Recruiter cannot guarantee the identity of Employers or individuals acting on their behalf. Job Seekers are solely responsible for verifying the legitimacy of any employer, job offer, or hiring process before taking any action, including actions affecting their current employment. Jump Recruiter does not guarantee the validity of any job offer, and you hereby relieve Jump Recruiter from any and all liability arising from your actions taken in your job search, including, but not limited to, actions that impact your current employment.

To deter fraudulent activity, Jump Recruiter may impose limits on daily applications or require verification of email addresses or phone numbers as a condition of using the Services.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

Jump Recruiter makes no representations, warranties, promises, or guarantees regarding the content generated by third parties, Job Seekers, and Employers, including, without limitation, the content of messages, job postings, applications, and resumes. You further agree that Jump Recruiter is not obligated to verify the accuracy, legitimacy, truthfulness, or completeness of any User Content, job listings, or other information posted on the Jump Recruiter website by third parties. You hereby represent that you are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, truthfulness, legality, and reliability of all User Content, including, without limitation, resumes, job applications, salary information, and job listings. 

Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

Jump Recruiter does not guarantee:

  • Error-free or uninterrupted service ; (ii) j

  • Job placement or hiring outcomes; (iii) a

  • Accuracy, completeness, legality, or availability of any listing content; (iv)

  • That applications will be delivered, received, reviewed, or acted upon by any Employer; and (v)

  • The identity, legitimacy, or practices of any Employer or User 

You further agree that Jump Recruiter does not, and cannot, verify that each user of the Jump Recruiter website or Services is who they claim to be. You hereby expressly assume all risk associated with users whom you come into contact with while using the Jump Recruiter website or Services. If you have any contact with any applicable user, you agree to pursue any remedies solely with the applicable user, and you hereby release Jump Recruiter, its subsidiaries, and their respective employees, directors, and agents from all claims, demands and damages of every kind (actual, consequential, direct, and indirect), whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, disclosed or undisclosed, to the fullest expense permitted by law.

All risk arising from use of the Services remains with you to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and except as otherwise expressly stated in this Agreement, in no event shall Jump Recruiter, its subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, successors and assigns, be liable to you, whether in contract, tort, breach of any statutory duty, or otherwise, for any:

(i) indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive damages, or any other loss or damage that does not arise naturally and according to the usual course of the breach, act or omission relating to this Agreement and giving rise to the loss, whether or not such loss may reasonably be contemplated by the parties at the time they entered into this Agreement as a probable result of any such breach, act or omission; or (ii) loss of profits, goodwill, use, data that result from the use of, or inability to use, the Services. Under no circumstances shall Jump Recruiter be responsible for any damage, loss or injury resulting from any hacking, tampering, or other unauthorized access or use of the Services or your account or the information contained therein. Jump Recruiter assumes no liability, to the maximum extent permitted by law, for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of any content contained on the Jump Recruiter website, or within the Jump Recruiter Services; (ii) personal injury or property damage of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your use of the Jump Recruiter website or its Services; (iii) the unauthorized access to or use of Jump Recruiter’s systems or servers and/or any personal information contained therein; (iv) interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Services; (v) errors or omissions, in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the services.

Jump Recruiter, its subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors and assigns, shall not be liable to you for any claims, proceedings, liabilities, obligations, damages, losses, or costs in an amount exceeding the amount paid by you to Jump Recruiter in the twelve (12) month period immediately preceding the event allegedly giving rise to the claim.

This Section 16 shall apply regardless of whether the alleged liability arises out of contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, breach of statutory duty, or any other basis.

  • Jump Recruiter is not responsible for Employer hiring decisions, application outcomes, or data practices

  • Jump Recruiter is not liable for any actions taken or not taken based on information submitted or received through the platform

  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Services is limited to fees paid by you (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim

  • Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

21. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Jump Recruiter and its subsidiaries, and their respective directors, officers, board members, employees, agents, successors and assigns, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses, including but not limited to legal fees and expenses, arising from your use and access of Services, your violation of any term of this Agreement or any applicable law, your user content, your application data, or other similar use of the platform.

22. Termination of Service

Jump Recruiter may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:

  • You violate this Agreement or our policies

  • Illegal activity is detected or suspected

  • Platform misuse or fraud is identified

  • Jump Recruiter determines it is in the interest of users or the platform to do so 

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@jumprecruiter.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases. Obligations relating to payments, indemnification, data protection, and intellectual property survive termination.

23. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The Services are controlled and operated by Jump Recruiter from within the United States of America. Jump Recruiter makes no representations that the Services or the materials available via the Services are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the United States. Those who choose to access the Services from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with all United States of America as well as local laws, if and to the extent the local laws are applicable.

This Agreement and any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement shall be governed by the internal substantive laws of the State of California, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.

All arbitration and other litigation in a court of competent jurisdiction for any dispute between you and Jump Recruiter related to or arising from this Agreement shall be located in Kings County, California.

24. Agreement to Arbitrate

You hereby agree that any and all disputes or claims that may arise between you and Jump Recruiter, its subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, successors and assigns, related to your use of the Services, this Agreement, or otherwise, shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than in a court in accordance with this provision. In doing so, your rights will be determined by a neutral arbitrator, not a judge or a jury. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT ABSENT THIS AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE, YOU WOULD BE ENTITLED TO SUE IN COURT AND HAVE A JURY TRIAL.

To seek arbitration with Jump Recruiter, you must first send a written notice of the dispute to Jump Recruiter by certified mail to Jump Recruiter’s address, at 520 W. Lacey Blvd., 9, Hanford, CA 93230. The notice must describe the basis of your claim and set forth the specific relief you are seeking. Jump Recruiter agrees to engage in good faith efforts to resolve the claim directly; however, if no agreement is reached within thirty (30) days after the notice is received, you or Jump Recruiter may commence an arbitration proceeding.

If Jump Recruiter wishes to initiate an arbitration proceeding against you, Jump Recruiter shall send a notice to you at the address you have on file with Jump Recruiter. The notice shall set forth the basis of Jump Recruiter’s claim and specify the relief sought by Jump Recruiter.

25. Changes to This Agreement

We reserve the right to amend this Agreement at any time. Your continued use of the Services after any such amendment shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of the Agreement, you are not permitted to use or access (or continue to access) the Services.
