Job Description:
Intuitive Health Services is seeking a dedicated Recreational Therapist to develop and implement therapeutic recreation programs that enhance the physical, emotional, social, and mental well-being of patients. The ideal candidate will assess patient needs, create individualized treatment plans, and facilitate recreational activities that support recovery, rehabilitation, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' recreational and therapeutic needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Conduct therapeutic activities, group sessions, and wellness programs.
Monitor patient participation, progress, and treatment outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Encourage patient engagement, social interaction, and skill development.
Ensure a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in Recreational Therapy or a related field.
Certification or eligibility as a Recreational Therapist preferred.
Knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles and patient-centered care.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
Previous experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, behavioral health, or therapeutic recreation preferred.
