Position Overview

This role supports the accounting function behind a fast-moving investment business, helping ensure the books, records, and reporting are accurate and timely. The role is well suited to someone who is detail-oriented and comfortable working in a small, growth-oriented environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely financial reporting.

• Maintain the general ledger and help resolve discrepancies across accounts.

• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash activity as needed.

• Track and organize accounting documentation for audits, tax, and internal review.

• Help improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting workflows.

• Work cross-functionally with finance and operations to support day-to-day accounting needs.

Must Have Criteria

• Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.

• Hands-on experience supporting month-end close.

• Resume-verifiable experience preparing journal entries.

• Experience working with accounting documentation and financial records.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, investment management, or real estate.

• Exposure to a small-company or high-growth environment.

• Experience supporting audit or tax requests.

• Familiarity with the accounting needs of alternative investments or multi-asset businesses.
