Technical Bakery Specialist

Job description:

Our Client is seeking a Technical Sales Bakery Specialist is a customer-facing technical and application expert responsible for demonstrating, supporting, and helping drive adoption of company products across bakery distributors, foodservice operators, in-store supermarket bakeries, donut shops, and industrial bakery accounts.

Product Demonstrations: Lead professional in-person and virtual demonstrations that showcase icings, fillings, glazes, purées, pies, and sweet dough/donut applications across multiple bakery formats.

Customer Training: Train bakery teams on proper product usage, handling, storage, finishing techniques, and best practices to maximize consistency, quality, and performance.

Sales Support: Partner with the Sales Managers during customer visits, product cuttings, distributor presentations, menu ideation sessions, and new business development opportunities.

Application Expertise: Provide practical, hands-on support in cake decorating, donut finishing, pastry assembly, sweet dough handling, glaze and filling applications, and other commercial bakery processes.

Cake Decorating and Finishing: Proficiency in icing, piping, finishing, decorating, and presentation techniques used in commercial bakery environments.

Bakery Production Experience: Hands-on experience with pastries, sweet doughs, laminated doughs, donuts, cakes, pies, and related bakery items.

Process Knowledge: Working knowledge of mixing, proofing, frying, baking, decorating, finishing, product handling, and commercial bakery equipment.

Experience in in-store supermarket bakeries, foodservice bakeries, donut shops, bakery distribution, or industrial bakery production.

Prior experience as a Bakery Trainer, Cake Decorator, Production Baker, R&D Technician,

Technical Sales Specialist, or Bakery Application Specialist.
