Accountant Remote

Join Marion Counseling Services (MCS) as a Remote Accountant and play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our fast‑growing marketing and sales division. Working from anywhere, you’ll partner with campaign managers to ensure budgets are accurate, expenses are tracked, and financial insights drive strategic decisions.

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for marketing projects.
- Monitor and report on campaign budgets, forecast spend, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with remote teams to provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and KPI reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls for remote operations.

Requirements
- CPA or equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in marketing or agency environments.
- Proficiency with cloud‑based accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero).
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for data manipulation.
- Excellent written communication for remote collaboration.
