The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial information, preparing budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance, and providing insights to support business planning and strategic decision-making. This role involves reviewing financial statements, identifying trends, evaluating variances, and developing reports to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze financial statements, revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts.
Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
Evaluate business performance and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities.
Maintain financial records, reporting schedules, and supporting documentation.
Assist with financial audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or reporting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis techniques.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or financial systems is an advantage.
Knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
