Licensed Vocational Nurse at Correctional Facilities

Intuitive Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse for various Correctional Facilities in CA. The LVN will provide direct nursing support, monitor patient health, and assist the clinical team in delivering safe, respectful, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments within the LVN scope of practice.
• Assist with wound care, specimen collection, and routine clinical procedures.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient documentation.
• Report significant changes or concerns to registered nurses and physicians.
• Support individualized care plans and daily patient-care activities.
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and basic health needs.
• Follow infection-control, safety, privacy, and emergency-response procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• Active California LVN license in good standing.
• Current CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication, observation, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
