Intuitive Health Services is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Technician for a full-time opportunity in Chowchilla, California. The selected candidate will support individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges through direct care, observation, and assistance under clinical supervision.
Provide safe, respectful, and patient-centered care according to treatment plans and facility procedures. Monitor patients’ behavior, emotional condition, and overall well-being, and report important changes to the nursing or medical team. Assist with daily living activities, therapeutic programs, crisis intervention, and maintaining a structured environment. Complete accurate documentation of observations, services, and incidents. Support medication-related procedures as permitted by licensing requirements and facility policies. Follow all safety, confidentiality, infection-control, and security standards.
Applicants should hold a valid California Psychiatric Technician license and an Associate-level education or approved equivalent training. Current CPR or BLS certification may be required. Strong communication, observation, documentation, teamwork, and de-escalation skills are essential. Candidates must remain calm, attentive, and professional in demanding situations.
