Intuitive Health Services is hiring a dedicated Psychiatric Technician for a full-time position in Delano, California. This role is ideal for a compassionate healthcare professional who is committed to supporting individuals with mental health needs in a structured and therapeutic environment.
Provide direct patient care to individuals experiencing psychiatric or behavioral health conditions. Observe, monitor, and document patient behavior, emotional status, and physical well-being throughout assigned shifts. Assist patients with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and safety.
Support the clinical team in implementing individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. Participate in crisis prevention and intervention strategies, including de-escalation techniques when required. Maintain a safe and secure environment by following all facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
Accurately complete patient records, reports, and communication logs in a timely manner. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care delivery. Assist with medication-related processes as permitted by licensing and facility guidelines.
Applicants must hold a valid Psychiatric Technician license (California or equivalent). An Associate degree or recognized training program in psychiatric or mental health technology is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, emotional stability, observational accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations. CPR/BLS certification may be required.
