Accounting Specialist

This Accounting Specialist role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and integrity of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, contributing directly to our operational efficiency and compliance.

Job Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Perform daily general ledger entries and assist with month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor statements, and other financial accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and schedules for management review.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit readiness.
- Assist with inventory accounting tasks specific to a manufacturing environment.

Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
