Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various healthcare systems and databases.
- Perform rigorous data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all analytical outputs.
- Develop and optimize data models and structures to support efficient reporting and advanced analytics.
- Create and automate interactive dashboards and reports using advanced features of BI tools, focusing on scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to improve data infrastructure and accessibility for analytical purposes.
- Document data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes thoroughly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with advanced SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, and window functions.
- Demonstrated experience working with large-scale datasets and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) with a focus on technical implementation and optimization.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis is a significant plus.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality principles, and data security in a healthcare context.
