Remote Medical Scribe

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Medical Scribe to provide accurate clinical documentation support to healthcare providers. The Medical Scribe will remotely document patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR), assist with administrative documentation, and ensure that medical records are complete, accurate, and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient encounters in the EHR in real time or shortly after the consultation.

• Record patient history, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and other relevant clinical information as directed by the healthcare provider.

• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with maintaining complete and organized medical records.

• Review clinical notes for accuracy, completeness, spelling, and formatting.

• Enter and update patient information in accordance with established procedures.

• Assist with preparing referral letters, follow-up notes, prescriptions, and other clinical documentation when required.

• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with applicable healthcare privacy and data-protection requirements.

• Communicate professionally with healthcare providers and other authorized staff.

• Follow established documentation standards, workflows, and quality-control procedures.

• Manage multiple documentation tasks while maintaining accuracy and timely completion.

• Stay familiar with medical terminology, abbreviations, and common clinical procedures.

• Perform other administrative and documentation duties as assigned.
