Data Analyst

Sage Expense Management is a leading platform that helps businesses simplify expense management, automate financial processes, and improve spending visibility. We are seeking a Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify trends, improve processes, and support data-driven growth.

Responsibilities

* Collecting, cleaning, and interpreting large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.

* Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to track key performance indicators and provide insights to stakeholders.

* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing, to understand their data needs and deliver relevant analysis.

* Conducting in-depth analysis to support business initiatives, product development, and strategic planning.

Required Qualifications:  

* Proven professional experience in a Data Analyst role or a similar analytical position.

* Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.

* Demonstrable experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications:  

* Familiarity with modern data stack technologies (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Airflow).

* A solid understanding of statistical principles and experience with A/B testing.

* The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.
