Operating at an associate level within a dedicated healthcare team, you will assist in providing behavioral health support and direct psychiatric care to patients. This position offers a competitive contract rate of $51/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on therapeutic care and emotional support to individuals with mental or developmental disabilities.
Administer prescribed medications, chart vitals, and monitor patients for any behavioral updates or side effects.
Collaborate efficiently with an interdisciplinary healthcare team of doctors, nurses, and clinicians.
Ensure accurate, timely documentation of patient activities, treatments, and incident reports.
Qualifications:
Current state licensure or certification as a Psychiatric Technician.
Associate-level experience working within a psychiatric hospital, correctional facility, or clinical mental health setting.
Excellent interpersonal, crisis intervention, and patient de-escalation skills.
Strong attention to detail regarding healthcare documentation and patient safety.
