About the Role: Intuitive Health Services is seeking a dedicated and responsible full-time Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to join our care team in Coalinga, CA. In this vital role, you will work directly under the supervision of medical and psychiatric staff to provide essential therapeutic and behavioral care, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for patients dealing with psychiatric disorders or developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate closely in the implementation of psychiatric, medical, and behavioral nursing care plans.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, accurately monitoring and documenting patient responses and side effects.
Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, psychiatric symptoms, and physical conditions.
Intervene therapeutically in crisis situations using approved, safe behavioral de-escalation techniques.
Assist patients with daily living activities, rehabilitation exercises, and safe participation in therapeutic program groups.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Psychiatric Technician program.
Active, valid Psychiatric Technician license issued by the state of California.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain composure during stressful clinical emergencies.
