Job Description
Intuitive Health Services is seeking a compassionate Licensed Psychiatric Technician to provide quality behavioral health support in a professional healthcare setting. The role involves monitoring patient behavior, assisting with daily care, supporting treatment plans, documenting progress, and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Observe and document patient behavior and progress.
Assist with daily living activities and care routines.
Administer medications as permitted by license and facility policy.
Support treatment and rehabilitation programs.
Respond calmly to behavioral concerns or crisis situations.
Work with nurses, physicians, and mental health teams.
Maintain patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Active California Psychiatric Technician License.
Associate degree or approved psychiatric technician training.
Knowledge of mental health and patient care practices.
Strong communication and observation skills.
CPR/BLS preferred.
Prior behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred.
