Job Responsibilities

- Administer medications as directed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage and documentation in accordance with facility protocols.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage medical supplies efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with security personnel and healthcare team members to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Maintain meticulous patient records and assist with scheduling appointments and referrals within the correctional system.

Requirements
- Current Medical Assistant certification/diploma from an accredited program.
- Proven ability to adapt to a structured and secure environment, demonstrating strong judgment and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to interact respectfully with diverse individuals.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and security clearance for correctional facility access.
