Medical Assistant

We're seeking an energetic Medical Assistant for our busy urgent care center, offering a fast‑paced setting where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.

Job Responsibilities
- Triage walk‑in patients, obtain medical histories, and document presenting symptoms.
- Support physicians and nurses during urgent procedures and wound care.
- Perform point‑of‑care testing, including rapid strep, flu, and glucose screenings.
- Administer vaccines, splints, and basic first aid as needed.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure restocking.
- Communicate lab results and follow‑up instructions to patients promptly.

Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credential.
- Experience in an urgent care or emergency setting preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with medical billing and coding basics.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
