We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our healthcare team in Soledad, California. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. You will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe and monitor medications, and provide ongoing patient care. The role also involves collaborating with psychologists, therapists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective treatment outcomes.
Key responsibilities include conducting mental health evaluations, diagnosing psychiatric conditions, managing medication treatment plans, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and ethical standards. You will also participate in case reviews, treatment planning meetings, and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and outcomes.
The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds. Experience in correctional, community, hospital, or outpatient behavioral health settings is highly desirable.
