Intuitive Health Services is seeking a Contract Psychologist in Ione, California (95640). This role is ideal for a highly skilled mental health professional dedicated to providing psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic support to individuals across diverse patient populations.
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews to understand patient mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and evidence-based practices.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions, supporting patients dealing with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, reports, and treatment records in compliance with healthcare standards.
Support crisis intervention and provide immediate psychological support during emergency situations. Offer guidance and coping strategies to improve patient well-being and long-term mental health outcomes.
Doctorate degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) required. Valid licensure as a Psychologist in California is mandatory. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and therapeutic skills are essential. Experience in healthcare or clinical mental health settings is preferred. CPR/BLS certification may be required.
