Job Description:

Intuitive Health Services is seeking a dedicated Recreational Therapist to develop and implement therapeutic recreation programs that enhance the physical, emotional, social, and mental well-being of patients. The ideal candidate will assess patient needs, create individualized treatment plans, and facilitate recreational activities that support recovery, rehabilitation, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' recreational and therapeutic needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Conduct therapeutic activities, group sessions, and wellness programs.

• Monitor patient participation, progress, and treatment outcomes.

• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

• Encourage patient engagement, social interaction, and skill development.

• Ensure a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Recreational Therapy or a related field.

• Certification or eligibility as a Recreational Therapist preferred.

• Knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles and patient-centered care.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.

• Previous experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, behavioral health, or therapeutic recreation preferred.
