About the Role: Intuitive Health Services is seeking a creative and dedicated full-time Recreational Therapist to join our team in Lancaster, CA. In this role, you will design, implement, and evaluate structured, treatment-based recreational programs to help patients improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient interests, physical capabilities, and therapeutic needs.

• Develop customized recreational therapy plans incorporating activities such as arts and crafts, sports, music, dramatics, and community outings.

• Lead therapeutic group sessions and individual activities designed to reduce anxiety, build social skills, and restore confidence.

• Observe, evaluate, and record patient progress and behavioral changes, modifying intervention plans as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support comprehensive patient recovery and rehabilitation goals.

• Document all clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions, and progress notes accurately within the health records system.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree or certification in Recreational Therapy or a closely related healthcare field.

• Active Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential preferred.

• Valid, active registration or license to practice in the state of California if required.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage a diverse patient population.
