Job Summary:
The Registered Dietitian will assess nutritional needs, create care plans, provide dietary counseling, and work with healthcare providers to support better outcomes. The ideal candidate should explain recommendations clearly, monitor progress, and adjust plans based on patient goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct nutrition assessments and review patient history.
Develop personalized nutrition care plans.
Provide counseling on healthy eating, weight management, disease prevention, and medical nutrition therapy.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Educate patients and families on practical nutrition choices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related healthcare field required.
Registered Dietitian credential preferred or required based on state guidelines.
Strong communication, patient education, and documentation skills.
