Registered Dietitian

Intuitive Health Services is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a contract healthcare position in Susanville, CA 96127. This role is ideal for a qualified nutrition professional who can provide dietary assessments, nutrition care planning, and patient education to support better health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ nutritional needs, health conditions, and dietary requirements
• Develop individualized nutrition plans based on medical and wellness goals
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and healthcare staff
• Monitor patient progress and update meal plans when needed
• Review food intake, medical records, and clinical information to support care decisions
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Document assessments, nutrition plans, progress notes, and follow-up care accurately
• Promote healthy eating habits, disease management, and proper nutrition practices
• Follow facility policies, safety standards, and confidentiality guidelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor-level education listed for this position
• Registered Dietitian credential required
• Experience in healthcare, clinical nutrition, or patient care preferred
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition care planning
• Excellent communication, counseling, and documentation skills
• Ability to work professionally with diverse patient populations
