Substance Use Disorder Counselor

Intuitive Health Services is seeking a compassionate Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team in our downtown community health center. This role focuses on delivering evidence‑based counseling to adults battling addiction, fostering a supportive environment that respects cultural diversity and personal strengths.

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using motivational interviewing, CBT, and trauma‑informed techniques.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, case managers, and peer support specialists.
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals to community resources such as housing, employment, and recovery programs.
- Participate in weekly interdisciplinary case conferences and continuing‑education workshops.
